What does Sentient Haven actually do?
We design, install and support private smart homes across Denver and the Colorado Front Range. That means unifying lighting, climate, locks, sensors, cameras, access and a private AI layer into a single system built on Home Assistant, running on hardware in your house rather than a manufacturer's cloud.
Where do you work?
Denver and the surrounding metro, Boulder and the north Front Range, the foothills around Evergreen and Conifer, Colorado Springs, and the mountain communities including the Vail Valley and Steamboat Springs.
Is this just a smart home, or something different?
It is a smart home, done as one system instead of a pile of separate apps. The difference is architecture and privacy: everything is designed together, it runs locally so it keeps working without the internet, and the intelligence layer lives on your hardware rather than someone else's.
Do I need to already own smart devices?
No. We work with houses that have nothing yet, and with houses that have accumulated a decade of devices that do not talk to each other. Existing equipment is usually kept — replacing hardware that works is rarely money well spent.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the house and the scope, so every project is quoted after we understand what is there and what you want it to do. Proposals separate hardware, design and installation so you can see exactly where the money goes.
Will my data leave the house?
By default, no. Automations and the AI layer run on hardware you own, so your household's movements, habits and routines stay inside the building. Cloud services can be added deliberately where they genuinely help, and we will always tell you what leaves and why.
